Membership rates seem good, especially if you have kids playing and need cage time. Extremely busy at times and not easy to get cages if you go at the wrong times.

A little over 5 months ago, Jaxson started working with Coach Art at D-Bat. Jaxson had taken private lessons in the past, but inconsistently. This time, we were starting to prepare him for select team tryouts, so he committed to weekly lessons with Coach Art. Starting out was difficult, to say the least. Jaxson is “different” … he’s diagnosed ADHD … he’s hyper (especially in the evenings, when meds are wearing off) … he’s obstinate … and he pushes boundaries. Jaxson is a very guarded kid, because it’s not often that he’s able to keep “friends”, once he’s let them in and gotten comfortable. He’s “too much” or other people/kids just can’t take or tolerate his level of intensity. So, because of this, Jaxson doesn’t very easily let his guard down. Coach Art saw something in Jaxson, from the first lesson. There were lessons when we walked out frustrated and embarrassed at Jaxson’s performance … but Coach Art never gave up on Jaxson, or in his faith that he could reach him. He NEVER said Jaxson wasn’t coachable. He pushed and remained patient, until he did break through those walls with Jaxson, and he earned Jaxson’s respect and friendship. To this day, Jaxson asks when his next practice

A very well run facility with extremely friendly employees. This D-Bat is clean and has plenty of room to get some good work and practice in. They also have a fully stocked pro shop and waiting area for parents. We will definitely be back. Alec was the gentleman who helped us out. Great kid!

Initially a much better experience than the one in Humble. Our son enjoys working with Hunter. That said, the last two weeks have been terrible. As such, I have updated my review. We bought a membership for the discount on lessons. Last week the lesson had to be cancelled due to a conflict. Completely understandable, but there was no availability for a make up lesson, so we just skipped. This week we took one of two openings. We drove 40 minutes there only to walk in to a zoo. There was a single young girl working. She was very overwhelmed. Two teams wanting to rent cages, the phone ringing off the hook, and so I waited 15 minutes for her to help me only to find out that the lesson we booked wasn’t going to happen because the trainer was not going to be there. She said, didn’t someone call you? When I shared no, and we drove a long way today for nothing. She said, well it’s not my job to call, sorry. I asked if this place was normally this messed up. She said, no but another young girl who walked in to the office said yes. All the while a man with a d-bat shirt and hat, listened to the entire exchange, turned away and said nothing. I think this can be a really good concept. When
